Theo Van Brabant is an independent Strategic Sustainability Advisor with experience working with a variety of organizations in the public, private and civil sectors. He is a trained practitioner in strategic sustainable development (The Natural Step Framework) and uses innovative facilitation methods such as the Art of Hosting to bring out the creativity of teams with whom he collaborates. Theo is a member of the Global Action Plan Network, an international group of NGOs focusing on empowerment for sustainable development and strategies for behavior change programs within schools, households and businesses. He focuses on the design of empowering behavioral change strategies and assists organizations in their strategic planning process to integrate sustainable development at their core. He is currently developing a new venture aimed at facilitating the discovery and procurement of sustainable products and services.
Theo holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Sherbrooke and a Masters in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability from the Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden. He is currently mentoring Project Green filmmakers Paul Redman and Tim Lewis, of Handcrafted Films, on matters related to the production and development of THE HOUSE CLEARER and GREASE LIGHTING.
